In my country we usually grow up learning Our Father prayer. If you are one of those people that can afford bread and you have it all the time you might ask yourself why pray about it. Well, I do think that prayer is more than asking for actual bread, it's about being vulnerable with the most ordinary things in your life in order to build a relationship with God.
Just like the prayer, being in Floriana's home together with a few other women whom I didn't know, all of us gathered around making bread and cooking great food wasn't just about bread and food, but building relationships by being vulnerable with one another and opening our hearts towards each other, telling personal stories with someone you just met and maybe at the end of the day having met a new friend.
I loved capturing our day. Everyone and everything inspired me. I hope you feel inspired too.
